Ok first let me say that this is not a flame but meant to be a constructive critism-

It seems to me that there have been some really odd choices on which threads are closed and which are not. A couple of examples:

A thread that was closed because it stated 'seemed' more like a rant than a discussion. This is odd because there is a 11 page thread about who's the biggest jerk in GW, which to me seems sorta rant-like.

Thread that are closed because the idea have similarity been brought up before. There are a lot of good ideas that may not have been relevant in the past, but might be good ideas now. It's one thing to request people search, but when it's down in 5 pages deep in the forum it seems appropriate to raise the discussion again. Let's face it there's only a limited amount of things to say, and once again I'd rather read a informative discussion about something that may have been raised before than "whos the hottest character?" thread.

Inshort I think the moderators should moderate according to the forum guidelines rather than close thread merely because it might/seem like they will get out of hand or because they appear irrelevent.

One final note I also think moderators should be designated as such and not participate in threads as moderators. To me that opens the door for appearing biased. If they participate it should not be as a mod.

Thanks for listening.
