Shiverpeak Chest

Wow, chest keys are sure getting expensive!! I hear you cry... well no, but Beacons perch happens to be on the border between North (on your way to Kryta) and South Shiverpeaks (A much later area). This warrants the price tag of 600gp for a key I suppose.

Could anybody advise as to the location of a Shiverpeak Chest nearby to Beacons perch?

Are there any in the North Shiverpeaks?

The Shiverpeak Keys are for chests in the Southern Shiverpeaks, that you don't reach until after Ascension.

Keys for the Northern Shiverpeaks area (on your way to Kryta) are called Steel Keys. I don't think they costs so much.

I won't buy them any more, all I've ever gotten out of any of them is half-baked junk that doesn't even get back the price of the key. When they drop, fine, I use them, but otherwise, I can't see the benefit of buying them.

I agree, don't waste your hard earned gold on the chests, spend 600g on a shiverpeak
key, open chest, get gold dwarven armor, ID it and it becomes purple major worthless
rune, at this point do not salvage it, get a price check on it at rune dealer and it is
worht 25g to sell and worth a 100g to buy, but the merchant will give you more,
I don't salvage anyting anymore, because the un-salavaged itme are usually worth
more, the only time I salavage white items is when I am saving up to get a new set
of armor.
I wish they would make the chests free again, and just put averaqge stuff in them.

When Sorrows was opened I got two different superior monk runes from the chests and after that I just got crap and a good necro staff but gave it to a guildie. Don't spend your money on it. Waste of money and time when your trying to find a chest.

that's quite right, BUT in ToA those said keys cost up to 1.5k PER KEY!!
