I'm lvl16... and at Augrey... bugger
Adambomb
Hi there,
I decided to make a W/Mo a few nights ago and because I had previously played through with my R. I kinda rushed through all the missions, getting some bonuses and skipping others whilst only doing a handful of quests that I either a) wanted the skills from or b) were near the starting point of the town I was in when I got them [Yes I'm being a bit lazy].
Now anyway, I'm at Augery and finding it a bit hard with trying to get a group and actually fighting monsters. Does anyone know any good tips for levelling up... I've already gone back and done the bonuses for most of the missions. I was thinking about Griffon farming but I don't have all the stuff needed for that yet methinks...
Thanks,
-Adam

you can go back and do the side quests that you haven't done yet...
galrath comes to mind as a starting point... then you have althea's ashes, another high xp quest...

Oooo yer, ashes... I'll go do that... tried Galrsth but apparently I'm a n00b for even asking to join a party cos I'm lvl16.... anyway I'll get there... it'll just be damn tedious....

i was in the same situation as you, with my W/mo i ended up taking henchies for all my trails as groups wouldn't take me. Henchies aren't as stupid as most people i find, take them.
once you ascend you get rocketed to level 20, which i was a bit upset about as i was just 16 when i went in to the final fight and i don't feel like i earnt those levels.

I agree with the above post. I do all desert quests with the hench and do ascension.. I ascended my monk at lvl 8 and was only lvl 15 afterwards.. That sucked big time :P

I found that most people in the desert still don't really know what they're doing.
I rushed too, and then completed the 3 desert missions with henchies at level 15-17, with bonuses on two of them (didn't try to hench the Dune's bonus as it was my first desert mission with henchies).
That's my advice. I think you'll spend way less time just henching the missions than trying to find a PUG that will take you or farming to gain the levels.

Thanks for the response's people... just done a few 1,000 + 2,000xp missions in Ascalon and am now level 17 and about a quarter of the way to eighteen.
Im gonna take your advice and hench the missions until I'm where I want to be.
Thanks,

Mister Overhill
I grab all seven henchmen from Temple of the Ages and do Galrath (4000 XP)from there. An easy run with some pretty decent kills along the way.

Galrath with henchies and me lvl17? You are joking right?

all those big quests and missions (thunderhead, galrath, thirsty river, ring of fire) are just scary, not hard.
you can easilly get through them with henchies if you know what you are doing... you should try, you'll probably succeed after a few tries.
note - in galrath you can die as much as you want, so if you get raped a few times and you get angry... take them out one by one at 60% dp

Hockster
The hardest part of the Galrath quest is the trip there. Go slow and use your head. It's actually very easy to finish.

Elrohir
I know that its a little much but when i had my 6th 7th and 8th chars just for pvp i just got to desert got ran through elona for 1-2k and then paid 25k each for thirsty and dunes because i was between lvl 11-13 and had the money. so if you only have elona left just fork over the 1-2k and get a run.

Garlath I still haven't completed :\
Tryed with Henchies and they just Peeve me off really bad...they will run around and skip and hop in the poison water like its fun or something..
I can be like...a million yards from any poison water, and the darn long range henchies will wonder off for no reason and chill in the poison water..

For myself, I take a right out of Temple of the Ages, and head for the rez point by the Talmark Wilderness exit (you can run down to Fisherman's Haven and Sanctum Cay nicely from there). Up to this point the water is not poisoned. Passing the rez point to the right, just hug the right side border all the way to the Kessex Peak exit. It's basically just easy kills all the way, if you watch your step, and you wont run into the "bone spur posse". You're in and out of poison water, but all in all it's not a bad run.

i was 16 at aurgury but i never had problems
IIIPowerIII
as a War, its a piece of cake at augury. Use the common Solo Build for griffon and solo until you're lvl20... Should take 5-6 Runs max.
Reve2uk
i got to augry at leave 12 :P that was with doing most misions and rushing with henchies. the way i leveled was to go to gats of kryta mission and keep redoing the start
i went up like 4 lvls in under an hour

FFF_WarRaven
Go buy some gold scrolls, and go hydra, drake, or even port sledge/grawl hunting, try going with only 2 or 3 other people, with 2 people and a gold 10 min scroll, i have gotten anywhere from 100+ to 260+ ( when killing a boss )
Scrolls really help to power level.
