What was your error message? What are you wanting to set your virtual memory to, and what is it set at now? Did the game actually crash, or did it just kick you back to the login screen with the error message?

You can check your virtual memory by doing right clicking on My Computer, selecting Properties, clicking on the Advanced tab, clicking on the Settings button under Performance, then clicking on the Advanced tab and (FINALLY) clicking the Change button. Windows by default usually handles the paging file, so to make any changes you'll need to click on the dot for Custom size. Ideally, you want the paging file to be a minimum size of your system's actual RAM and a max size of double the RAM. Usually it's a good idea to set the minimum to about 1024 and max to 2048 if you have less than 1 GB of RAM. Just make sure you have enough free space on the hard drive to support a max sized paging file. Before messing with the virtual memory though, try making sure you have all of your drivers up to date.

I get kicked out of the game on occation at different times with an err=7 message box window at the logon screen.

Sometimes it happens when I'm doing nothing at all and then try to move or use something and it just sits there a while and I wait then try to do something again and get the boot to the logon with that err=7

The most frustrating times it happens is when I'm out on a mission and have to start it over.

I've tried contacting tec support at GW and they sent me a message asking me do a pingpath in a dos window and then email them the results, I did and they still didn't give me any explanation why it's happening.

Some days it's more constant than others but I'd say over all it's about once every 2-4 hrs sometimes more or less often.

I have a very stable cable connection and the more than recomended hardware for the game so it's doubtful that's the problem and it's not a path lag as it seems all my hits in pathping test were 100% ok showing most pings at under 100ms average being 50's.

Personally I think it's just a glitch in the system, their system cause it's their err=7 code I'm seeing at the logon screen not any windows blue screen error message.

But this game is so much fun it doesn't bother me, I actually like re-doing some missions, it gives a second chance at good loot drop locations which I've noticed have a pattern, like the spiders near Fort Ranik where you do the apple barrel quest, if you go into that area around the basket the spiders fall out of the tree and then if you pick up the basket they fall out some more, almost every time they came out the second round I'd get an ink drop from one of them, this is the only known location to me this happens for ink.

The only solution found for that #4 error is here:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ead.php?t=5951

Basically recreate a new character for some reason fixes it... *Shrugs*
I still think it has to do with your connection. Wouldn't mind having that error myself one day just so I can go about fixing it instead of reading about it. Be nice if AN would post up a list of the errors so we know what they are.
