I played Guild Wars a lot over the summer with a CD Key purchased on ebay. I'm guessing whoever I bought it from wasn't legit because Guild Wars disactivated it after a couple months. When I log-on now it tells my key is no authorized to play Guild Wars but gives me the option to enter a new one. My friend is letting me use his account and was just wondering if I could somehow use his CD Key for my old account or transfer it or switch them somehow.

You cannot. His key is already in use, and is linked to his characters.

Las is right; Unfortunately one account links to one players characters. You really can't do what you want, sorry. Hope this info helped. <I know ebay is cheap, but think, offer 45 bucks american for it and you KNOW you will have a legit key, just suggesting.
