Attribute quest

I'm having a lot of problems getting this first quest...
as far as i can tell, this is all you need to get it:
- need to be ascended
- need to talk to vanyi in droknars forge
- need to talk to all the ghosts

i have done all that and she still tells me that i need to talk to them er something.. i have travelled to every city in the desert, and talked to EVERY ghost and cant get the quest. i still get the same message: talk to the spirits in the desert. what spirits is she reffering to? i have talked to some..

Finish one of the "The Path of the _ _ _ _ " But do not change your proffesion, or do so if you wish.

as a matter of a fact i did do that. i actually wanted to change my secondary, did so. still cant get it. am i supposed to finish all the ghosts quests in those regions?

Do a search on attribute quests, there's quite a few threads on this.

Heres basic myth busting.
- You do not need to talk to all the "X path" giving quest ghosts, cause I didnt.
- You do not have to do "Hero's Journey" anymore (though I understand at one point you did) cause I had not even started it when I got Hero's Challenge.

The only requirement I had to fill it seems is to actually BEAT one of the "The X's Path" quests .

I believe there is also a requirement to actually visit the three outposts where you can change your secondary.

So all you have to is:
1) Visit all three outposts.
2) Accept and complete on the the "Path of the ___" quests.

You do NOT need to actually change your secondary.

But, if you have to visit all three towns (not outposts) then you may as well talk to all the ghosts so you have all the quests in your log.

I agree that you do NOT have to change your secondary, but you DO have to complete 1/4 quests. Once this has been completed and you talk to Vanyi again it should now update to where you have to find her sister in order to finally complete the Att quest (won't say where she is in case it's a spoiler for some)

It is possible that something has been updated that requires you to either (a) visit all desert locations where these quest-givers inhabit & complete one of them or (b) visit each location and complete each quest but I highly doubt this one.

As far as I can tell it is completing just one of the quests, but I've always gotten all of them first. I know that just obtaining the "path" quests wasn't enough as Vanyi wouldn't give me the attribute quest, but did once I completed one.

Anyway, that's been my experience.
