Can't Read Access Code

When I scratched off the access code from the inside cover of the CD box, I was unable to read the first characters of the code. I could only make out the last 19 characters! Talk about frustration after chucking out 79.99 for the Collectors Edition!!! Does anyone have suggestions?

Same problem here. On the inside of the Guild Wars CD jewel case, there was a note saying that the Access Key is supposed to be scratched off with a coin. Someone had apparently gone and covered that with a piece of strong tape, and despite doing everything I could to avoid this, removing the tape ended up pulling off bits of code. I attempted to deduce the garbled characters, but the online Access Key verifier apparently has locked me out after three failed tries and the official FAQ has no info on this kind of problem. Very, very frustrating! I already know I'm in for a return trip to the store where I purchased it, but only after a 24-hr wait for a response to my ticket.

I'm ok now. There were 5 garbled characters and after a million attempts I found the correct combination. The "lockout" perception was actually due to the game apparently not permitting certain alpha or numeric character types in certain locations where they were not expected (the Next button would be inactive).
