Is the complete map playable??
AshBlade Arc
Can you actually play the complete map? I tried several times to get to the deep south, north, east and west but had no luck. There was no passage I could find. I believe I got a lot further on some of the beta weekends. I gave up at lvl 8 and moved on to the searing. Is it unlocked after the searing?
Wind
Haha.. you can only access that little part in pre-searing. afterwards, the rest is unlocked.
But the -entire- map isn't 100% playable.

You can go to almost every spot on the map, but there are just a few small areas that you cant get to.

Can you tell me if some areas unlock as a result of doing a mission or quest?

I believe only Amnoon Oasis and the area to the south of the Shiverpeaks require the completion of a mission to get there. Everything else can be walked to from somewhere.

rgr if you wanted you could run from ascalon to the far wall of the world(through northern shiverpeaks) and then double back moving to the south and end up at sanctum clay

Anyone here found the secret grove? (my name for it) near Fort Ranik in the pre-sear game.

Exit the fort and walk down the path (Again pre-sear). They ruined the area post sear.
Pass Mary Malone and head toward the archetectural wonder or nonsense.
Once you clear the hill on the right and all the beasties to your right, head that direction. Keep veering right until you are paralelling the path back into the fort, if you look right you can see the fort and drawbridge. You make a big "U" turn...
Cross the stream and look for some bushes on the opposite side of the stream. Work your way through them and voila, one of the true beauties of the game. Walk through the cave and out the other side (watch the lighting )
Ohh to have a house in this area...

Yeah, I've found that place. I've wondered about it. It is very pretty with no monsters.

However, I don't think you can get to the southwest part of the map without doing The Wilds. There don't appear to be any links between the explorable areas you can get to from Denravi and the explorable areas you can get to from Lion's Arch (which is everything except those SW areas).
Or am I missing the link somewhere?
