According to some calculations made by Savio, the max possible hp is somewhere around 8600.
Senator Tom
you should see me running around in comp arenas with 1.3k hp
mortalis doleo
the most amount of hp possible is with symbiosis, fertile seasons, +30 bonus on the staff (2 of them), rune of sup vigor and 7 monks spamming enchants on you...

There was a screenshot of some guys healing or over 8k points with Infuse Health, Symbiosis and loads of enchantments. But they were only four(4!).

BASE hp? 590 ^^
if you are looking for some crazy massive life build that would take 5 minutes of constant spiking to kill, listen to these guys and add up all of the life that the skills and spirits would add.

haha nice call. however that 45 hp is situational (stance, enchanted, hexed) and would not always be factored into hp. 590 is the max that you can have at all times. however, as you gusy are adding up the max hp with skills and enchantments, you will want to throw that equipment in there. good thinking ^^
Selus of Amoe
Anyone ever thought of using a life train build for tombs or something? Having so much health that you could tear down the enemy before they did you... Although it would easily be beaten if enemies could rid of enchantments and such.
mortalis doleo
i thought of a build like that before the enchant sustain and ether renewal got nerfed... but if you just kill symbiosis, you're team is helpless...
Divine Elemental

lol, they kill symbiosis and you all die at once.
mhmm, you need a e/n self-spamming enchantments, a necro/ranger handling fertile season, symbiosis and necro enchants, and then a tonna mo/x s doing their thing.

Not really a build, moved to Q&A.

If max is 8600, you can tank siege weapons in GvG for around 6-8 hits.
Savio
8600 isn't a practical number. If you wanted to do something that would last a reasonable amount of time, I'd estimate around 2000-3000 constant hp.

It's possible to enchant the symbiosis to protect it as well right?
Former Ruling
Warrior/Necromancer, nrager, and 6 monks on team
~600 before skills
Max Fertile Season up for ~300 HP.
Max Symbiosis Up (~125 HP per enchantment)
Defy/Endure Pain for ~260 HP each
Demonic Flesh for ~180 HP
There are about 30 Enchantments that the monks should be able to get you (in a perfect world..in the real world..the first would have worn off by the time the 30th was cast) - including Vital Blessing which gives its own ~170 HP. 30 Enchantments is ~3750 from Sym.
I come up with ~5520 HP (ROUGH rounding of course) as a maximum..
So...I'm probably missing a few of the health increasing spells that others were thinking of.
But my calculations show about 5.5k HP.
EDIT: I now think that this sites listings show lvl12 in the skills - not the max. So with the extra given from extra levels not calculated in the skill listing - You could add probably about 2k HP to my total. Getting it close to the before calculated 8.6k.

I figured it was around 150 at the higher lvl, thats where the last paragraph comes from.
But I completely forgot about Mesmer, dropping necromancer (and in turn demonic flesh) opens up room for about 5 enchantments from the mesmer secondary. Which would account for the extra damage leaading up to your 8.6k figure.
