Very few armors dye nicely when dyed black.
Aeromancer is one of them, in other words your elm looks very nice in black.
I never use black (since everyone and their randmother use it) except on my 15K noble since it looks BLACK (not grey or a shade of black)

WHAT THE HECK!!! Why do a lot of people comment on such simple screenshots and no one ever cared about my photoretouches or my artistical ones!! Then if I post my three female character in provoking poses with 15k armours dyed respectively gold, pink and red, I'll get a lot of comments? I'll try it and see if it's really what I think....

then you get mad when people give you their opinion about your character, as in if everyone in this world has to revolve around you and your e-pixels and that they have to give positive remarks about your character. come on now. not everyone is like you or thinks like you.
