Evade attack or Block attack?

Evade attack or Block attack?
I never thought about it...but, whats the difference between evading an attack and blocking?
Does evade mean you're not attacking or something.

Evade means it just doesn't hit you, and block means it hit you, but your ownzo0r skills pWned it >_>
Basically its wording thats different for skills.
Theres Evade, Dodge, and Block. If something cannot be Evaded or Blocked it can still be dodged visa versa among the three.
If somethign says "when you evade attacks, this happens" - it only activates when you evade, not block or dodge.
So its basically wording. All 3 means you dont take the damage.

First off just to confuse you: the skill dodge evades. Lol.
There are four ways you can fail to hit an opponent:
you can 'Miss', because you are 'blind', or have 'price of failure' on you etc,
You can get a 'stray' dunno how this happens lol...
the opponent can 'Dodge' your ranged attacks by physically sidestepping,
the opponent can 'Block' or 'Evade', the % chances of block and evade stack.
So there must be a difference ie whether warriors gain adrenaline, whether oath shot or marksmans wager get a hit, someone else answer this please! itts a good one...

stray is when the enemy walks under your arrow without getting hit ^^

The difference is that there are a variety of skills that cause different effects if used on a target that is blocking or evading an attack.
Some warrior skills cause additional damage if the attack is blocked, but not if they are evaded. Some other skills cause conditions (i.e. deep wound) if the attack is evaded but not blocked.

Adrenaline gain happens on a block, but not on an evade.

Isn't stray when you fire an arrow at quite a distance and by the time it gets there your target has moved... Z0MG.... there's wind in GW!!! Wind I tell you!!!

I know stray occurs from A: lag, B: target foe moved and your firing pos. wasnt good enough to do a deflection shot.

I've had a stray where I aimed at 12 o'clock and the arrow took off at 10 o'clock (direction based on target being straight ahead at 12 o'clock)
