Which is the most useful Mesmer armor set?

I ve got the noble prestige armor set, does the +15 AL while casting have any benefit in PvP ? Does the +15 AL apply to each armor piece (Extra +60 AL while casting) It look likes the prestige Enchanter sets is far more useful because of the +16 energy.
Argentus
My mesmer wears the following:
Chest: Rogues for the extra +10 defense vs physical, but with -1 energy. You are most commonly hit in this area, so this offers the best protection.
Gloves: Enchanters for the bonus +1 energy. This counters the -1 energy from the Rogues chest armor.
Leggings: Enchanters again, for the bonus +2 energy.
Boots: Courtly (or another similar mesmer set) for the +15 defense while casting. I have read that this is a global effect, so having one piece from this set offers the benefit to all 4 areas. No need to wear the full set.

Skil - you only need 1 piece of Noble armor to get the full benefit of the +15 AL while casting. This +15 AL is a global effect (unless they have changed it since I last played GW, which admittidly was like a month ago :P) and it does not stack with itself - this means having 5 pieces of Noble will still only give you +15 AL while casting, and not +60 AL while casting.
So grab the Noble boots or Gloves and use the rest of the set for statistically better armor. Argentus' setup is a fairly decent set - you can always swap out Rogues chest for something else if you don't like that -1 energy (like say for Enchanters if you really want more energy), but he's right in that the chest is 1 of 2 region's that get hit the most. The other part is your leg's - this is due to the way GW's hit distribution model works (there's a guide or something on GWG which explains this).
