Necromancers

Anyone have a necro/mesmer build? How's it going? Is it good in pvp?

I just got GW, so im a complete newb.

im new too, and i play a ele/me, but i heard minions are useless in pvp, however curse magic mixed with hexing abilities of mesmer should work fine, at least in weakening the enemy so ur mates can finish them off easy. hope that helps. refund points allow you to switch between specializations easy anyways.

I've been playing a Mesmer/Nec recently, and they are very fun. Soul Barbs hurts the enemy for each Hex you use on them, so Barbs+Empathy+Phantom+Life Siphon is very nice; then, throw in Shatter Delusion, which ends a Hex but damages them more, and you get a nice cycle of damage going. I assume that it isn't as effective at higher levels, though. You might want to go with Mesmer primary, as Quick Casting is very nice for throwing lots of Hexes in such situations.
