I'm using this adrenaline sword warrior build for competition arenas.
For healing I use Mending and Live Vicariously. With my 8 healing, that is Mending with +3, and Live Vicariously with 8 health on each hit.
Now my question is, would I heal myself more if I use a Vampiric Sword Hilt?
If I use that, I will have 2 health regen (instead of 3) and 11 health each hit (instead of 8 ). I read somewhere that you do one hit each 1.33 seconds, so what would be the best option? With or without Vampiric?
I know one can calculate this on their own, but I'm too lazy for that lol. Maybe someone has experience with this.
Mending, Live Vicariously and Vampiric weapons

I dont play warrior, but this is a pretty simple answer.
1 health degen is a loss of 2 health per second. That means you lose 2.66 health every 1.33 seconds. Vamp gives you 3 per hit, so that's 3 per 1.33 seconds.
Basically, if you are sitting there pounding the guy, and never missing, you are gaining more health than you lose.
There are many situations, however, in which the degen can get you while you are chasing the guy or he is blocking. This assumes of course that you bring a non-vampiric weapon to equip while you arent fighting.
Overall, Its really up to you. Since you have mending on, you wont actually be losing health, but the loss of regen means that you wouldn't get as much health back once you were hurt.
It's really a judgement call on your part.

Many people make the incorrect assumption that since Vampiric weapons provide life steal, they should be used for self-healing. This is usually incorrect, especially in PvP. Yes, you will slowly gain .33 health every 1.33 seconds if you stand their whacking at someone. However, PvP targets rarely stand still, and one might actually find that he loses health when he is unable to attack constantly.
However, the boon of life steal is the damage added. +3 damage every hit is worth a -1 health degen to some people, and will result in much more damage than other weapon prefixes.
In conclusion, only add Vampiric if you want to add damage. Otherwise, don't bother.
Note: PvE is a different issue, especially with Cyclone Axe and Hundred Blades.

vampiric doesn't add damage.

I agree with Slade, If you want to add damage then Vampiric can give you that boost you would like, but if you are looking towards it for healing, its not nearly as efficient as a regular healing spell.
Traversc, yes it does add damage because it is a Life "Steal", so your target does in fact take +3 damage on every attack (vamp mod +3 health per hit, -1 regen).
