Haven't really thought too much about what kind of skills would be involved (post ideas if you want!) but I think some kind of "stealthy" character might be a nice addition for an expansion. Sort of like a Thief character who would be able to do things like unlock doors, maybe chests, discover secret/hidden areas, spot/disarm/recover traps, slit throats etc.
There would of course need to be changes and new areas to allow use of a character like this, for example adding hidden traps and such to areas (to encourage Rogues to be taken along) as well as locked doors and so forth. You could make it so such "locked" places are openable by lockpick items by anyone but you have a much higher chance of success with a rogue using them.
Add some stealth abilities so they can sneak around and perhaps lay some traps down, but do it in such a way the character isn't abusable (mobs can have ability to spot/hear sneaking rogues etc)
I think this would be a nice alternative to the majority of classes as they are now i.e. in your face damage dealing and action packed. It would be handy for those who like to solo a bit as well as you could wander around and do some things at least, a lot would depend on suitably designed areas and mods to existing areas of course.

Yes, the search button is your friend. There are tons of topics on it, plenty of which are "okay" but not "great" ...there's still something missing. Even from my own post. It needs originality. Imho, if people don't like rogues that much..
