We do a lot of GvG and farming in fow and uw.
Our members are very active and are always looking to learn and help. We have no allies at the moment but we are actively looking for one, for the simple reason to learn more, help more, and have extra people to farm with or do gvg's. It does not matter how big or the small the allie guild is.

This is complex in the least, so if you are faint of heart or simple minded stop reading now.


For those of you still with me, Rivendell is the first guild in what we plan to make a complex network guild.

The goal is to open the other two elven towns of middle earth. Right now Rivedell has a strong member base with a very strong officer base (about 6 officers plus guild leader on everyday)

What we are looking for is more active members with leadership qualities to help us grow to a number where we can expand.
More to the point we need people who share our interest in the theme.

We are a community guild, which means we only accept members that want to be an active part of the guild, we don't just add names to the roaster. Requirments to get into the guild are simple, you register on the guild forums. Active posting isn't required, but reading the post helps members find out what is going on.

What we are offering any guild that wishes to merge:
Fair opertunity for officership
a 50 man TS server (we can up the number as needed)

An active community of friendly people (not free loaders)
And an established and inforced code of conduct (please see website and forums for code of conduct and ethics)

If you are worried about the looks:
We have a guild hall (druids or wizards, I don't remember exactally)
and the cape is a solid dark green representing the elven cloaks that the fellowship were given.

Factions questions? We so far are leaning towards Kurzick but it is up to a full guild poll that is open until the release.

PvP and GvG
If you want to do it, we're up for it. We would really like to get some hard core PvP players in that would be willing to train others how to be good at it.

PvE
We do a lot of this. My husband and I run an awesome monk team, we also have a few other good monks. Most members have at least one character completly through the game. And we help at all stages of the game.

As the current leader of Untamed Laundry (as seen in my two latest humor articles ) I've decided its time for us to merge into anouther guild due to the fact that most of our members are not active and we're growing smaller by the days. I am leader of the guild Eternal Knights, a guild that has been involved with Guild Wars since the beta testings over a year ago. At that point in time, we were 50 members strong, complete with a website, multiple TS servers, hall and cape.
But over the past few months, school and real life issues have seen the removal of almost all of our members, and now we are left without a following. Though there are a few of us that remain, our domain is up for renewal and it was brought forward that it would be better to merge with a stronger guild and/or gaming community than to renew a domain for a year with 5 members.
I simply don't have time to lead and recruit a whole new guild anymore, and would rather go back to taking part in rather than leading a guild.

So, what the Eternal Knights are looking for, is a reputable guild that either is, or is not a part of a larger gaming clan (the first would be preferred, as many of us game in different areas, but is not a requirement) that has a respectful, honourable community. The Eternal Knights were built on these prefaces, and will continue to uphold them, even under a different name. We are looking for a guild to merge into that also has a decent website, guild hall, cape, and experience in both PvE and PvP aspects of the game.

Guild interested in merging into another guild

Im currently a leader of a guild called The Elite Guard of TBB. We formed early 06 and currently have 20+ members were a european based guild im actual from Blackpool, England. Players also from holland, poland, etc but mostly England.

Most of us have factions and prophecies and im interested in a possible merge... Everyone does PvE but have also been doing a lot of Luxon battles so I hope your guild is a Luxon guild. We defo want to do some PvP/GvG action as well members are craving to do this lol.

We have cape, hall, forum etc but i'd prefer to merge into a guild but in can go the other way if needs be.

pO 5 members looking to merge with 5 to 6 good players. We already have guild hall even all the npcs and everything, but we wanextremly experianced in gvg players. Message Silver Dye.

Halcyon Dreams is a small (15 member) guild based in Europe. Most of our players are British, although a sneaky Norwegian and Aussie crept in there somehow !

The guild is close and friendly, but we don't have the numbers to do the kinds of activities our members would like to do (HoH, GvG etc). Whilst most of the team is an experienced collection of PvE players (1yr +), we have several 'ranked' Tombs players as well who can offer help with getting PuGs or builds, although clearly we are looking to expand to run full Guild teams.

We can also offer some basic Arena PvP training and guidance, but have zero experience with GvG.

We are looking to merge with a similarly-sized guild with the same kind of goals and experience levels - clearly a hardcore PvP guild or players not-at-all interested in PvP would not make a good match.

Our player-base is mature (18+ to 30+) - the humour and language is sometimes not really appropriate for very young players. We have a very laid-back, 'no silly rules' approach and would make everyone welcome - there are one or two who are a bit quiet, but generally it's hard to shut us up !

Due to the way our guild infrastructure is set-up, we would need to retain the name, not least because we own our domain name. We have a main 'presence' web site to direct potential recruits to and a very active phpBB forum. Capes are not an issue for us - bring yours if you like ! Leadership is open for negotiation and all your officers will, of course, be made so here.

As for Factions - we are not aligned yet - a recent poll had the guild split 50/50 for Kurzick/Luxon, so if you are already aligned .. won't be a problem.

Beyond the game we offer a 24/7 commercial vent server for PvP and general chat, ftp facilities, guild emails, and much much more.

Is it just me or has this become a recruitment thread?

I believe the original intent of this thread is not if you want to ABSORB another guild into yours (thus adding them to your current guild roster)....but if you want to BE ABSORBED BY another Guild ( you disband your guild and a new guild adds you to their roster)....

I have to agree with you... If you are a smaller guild wanting to be absorbed, post here not the other way around. Otherwise you are just recruiting for your own guild in the guild discussion forums which is against the rules...

Beyond Imagination(europe based) is looking for european guild to merg with. We dont mind under whose name.

We are 3 experienced, GvG oriented players. Each one of us is able to play diverse role in GvG. We quited a ranked 300 guild which we have been in for more than 8 months to form our own guild, because they refused to use ts/vent and changes. The youngest of us is 15, the oldest is 27. We are online everyday.

We are looking for a small(10-12 players max), highly competetive guild with daily GvGs. We dont mind doing HA as long as GvG is not negleted. Mature attitude and friendly enviroment is also important to us. Usage of ts/vent is a must!

The Order of the Trojan Horse is a Europe-based guild that has been around since mid-2005, but we are still a relatively smally guild.

We decided a merger would be a good idea, hence this post. We've got 20 members, with an active core of about six to ten.

REVIVAL [ZEN] is a guild made up of competitive gvg'ers that have quit the game many months ago and have found a reason to come back. This guild is a descendent of KARMA also with the [ZEN] tag and inheirited it's philosophy of chill people who don't rage and loves to play at a highly competitive level. At it's peak KARMA was a top 20 team and many members are r9+. Though rank isn't always an accurate predictor of skill, it is a good indicator of how much we play.

Wave is looking for a guild like us that would accept us into their ranks, since we are currently not active enough/dedicated enough to GvG, even though that is our intended main purpose, due to spring sports and school work and other RL stuff. Our hope is that by joining another guild the leadership here will get to have more fun playing again and spend less time trying to round up members and argue about builds and halls and such. Anyways, to give you an idea of what kind of guild we are, here is the post we made for recruiting:

We are looking for cool people who are into GvG. We have been around for a few months now, and have fluctuated in rank and activity level. We are looking for people who are somewhat experienced in GvG, but attitude is more important than skill level; our only requirements are having vent, a mic and all three campaigns.

GvG is basically the only Guild Wars activity that we do as a guild, you can find some people to do HA and other forms of PvP, but they definitely aren't as popular. (We started in GW but the guild has actually expanded to playing BF 2142 and DoW: Dark Crusade as well.)

We understand that GW isn't the only part of life (although it is a big part) so as long as you log in or post on our forums once every few days we won't worry about your "inactivity."

We are pretty active in vent, even if people aren't on Guild Wars there are usually people in vent, either playing another game or just hanging out. So that also means we are sort of a community, which is why it is important that you are cool and not annoying.

The reason we are recruiting is that we recently lost a bunch of people to different reasons, so we are left with a core of only about 8-12 active players, and while those 8-12 are active, it is still hard to get enough people on together at the same time to GvG. The main thing we are replacing is monks, it would be cool if we could get more of those. Of course, we are happy to get any cool people we can.

Right now since the ladder is sort of weird and frozen and we don't like the meta we haven't been playing that much, but ideally we would play a few times during the week, if not every night, and we sometimes go on GvG marathons during weekend nights. We plan to become much more active again once the tournaments start, given that we have enough new recruits by then.

Most of us live in the west coast of the US timezone and have people on from around 4PM-Midnight PST during weekdays and basically anytime on weekends. In terms of GvG, the schedule is more like 6-10 PST on weekdays, and could happen anytime on weekends.

So if you are interested there are a number of things you can do. You can look us up on the ladder to get a better sense of us (we should be the only [Wave] there) and hopefully it will be during a time when we feel proud of our rank and rating, you can visit our forums (waveguild.19.forumer.com) and make a post there (you won't be able to see much until you are a member, but it's still something), you can PM me through these forums, or you can message me in game. Hi, I am the leader of a small guild called THIZZ[Face]. We recently had a mass leave spike due to people never being on at the same time, reformed to this guild, and realize that those people who left were never really there. We also fell apart due to alliance leader Kitty Likes Cocconuts [Wild] leaving for the last spot in the Getting High With [Koss] alliance.

We have 7 members, most experienced PvPers (one or two not so good, but they will leave you alone unless you ask :P), Glad 2's and rank 4+.
