I killed Vaatlaw Doomtooth, lol

Question - Now that i have killed him, will he still be in the final fight before post-searing?
I have never know anyone to kill him before (OK, so i got lucky because he got stuck on Trina Yunn) so aswell as bragging , i just need to know what will happen, since i am not ready to leave presearing yet....if at all.

EDIT- I went AFK during that quest with Devona...to find Vaatlaw stuck and Devona dead. Luckily i was still alive. NPC's FTW!

Good on you! I've trie d several times, even sitting by the bridge to head him off while a partner triggers the quest - he ignores you and runs right by.

While I can't say for sure if he'll be there, I'd guess yes. You can kill all the Charr north of the wall and you meet them all again later in the game, so apparently they faked their deaths or something - since they still appear I'd guess he will too.

I killed him on my very first character when GW first came out, I didn't know he was supposed to be a boss later on

I can't remember for the life of me whether it caused a problem with the mission after the academy though.

I killed him once as well in a similar situation, he got stuck on the environment. He'll be there. If you think about the Ascalon quests, you can kill the same bosses multiple times as they spawn in different areas.

This game isn't really setup in a linear story advancing fashion. You can go back to Ascalon after <er, something bad happens to> the Prince and he is still there waiting to join you for missions.

He got stuck for me when one of those random people Ascalon Townfolk NPCs happened to bodyblock him and keep him from running away when Devona and I went to hunt him down.

Poor guy...didn't even fight back.
