magmas shield

I found a magmas shield max dmg, however it wasn't much more. The req. was 10 tactics. Does the skin alone make worth a few K, and could I sell to other than a merchant. I never realized a sickle not max dmg could be worth so much because of its skin. Is that maybe a case with a magmas shield on a much smaller scale?
