Outfitter or Merchant: selling weapons??

In the booklet it is told that outfitters sell basic weapons. I found out there should be 2 outfitters in Ascalon City (post-searing). But... I only see 2 merchants (which are not mentioned anywhere) and they don't sell armor or weapons Where can I buy a weapon?

Generally the weapons sold are beginner weapons just in case you didn't have one or managed to loose the one you started with. There is a guy who specialises in weapons in the crafters section. He has [Weapon] after his name. Really if you need a new weapon head out and kill something, weapon drops are quite frequent. It may take some time to find the one you want. If you're impatient there are quite often other players trying to sell stuff in the game. Be cautious about what you pay, weapons really don't have a lot of value in the game.

The guy in the crafter section only custimizes weapons (+20%). The other 2 crafters are for armor. So... Outfitters are called merchants in the game?

They are now! There were a number of little name changes at release.

Later on you can craft your weapons at the weapons vendor I think earliest crafting station is Yaks Bend. Please correct me if I'm wrong

I do believe you can craft a Khylo Axe in Pre-Sear. So that would most likely be the earliest weapon crafter.

There is also a weapon crafter in Piken Square.

What's it really matter, I've never seen anything at a weapons crafter worth beans.

Maybe I've just had better luck with my drop, but crafted weapons are all a little bit weak.
