This is intended to farm griffs, and you have to take them 2 groups at a time, because they won't follow you.

Yeah, Shield of Judgement + more defense/healing is going to be the way of things from this point on. Expect SoJ to become a 2-second cast/shorter duration/longer recharge in the near future.

I'm already feeling in my bones what shape the new farming builds will take. Hint to everybody: buy your 3/1 Vamp Axe hafts and 18-20% Axe grips of enchanting NOW, before their prices hit the stratosphere. Don't say you weren't warned...

I've just tried an earth based build, and it's just as easy to farm griffons as with the pre-patch builds. You just need to keep kinetic armor up at all times, and make sure every hit counts (since it'll be a short series of high damage spikes rather than damage over time).

a Mo/N will be the way to farm just get out spitefull spirt on a few of them and let them kill eac other.............. but will they run from that ????

What's been sucessful for me, both pre and after the update, is n/mo with Rotten Flesh (which spreads just fine to all the enemies as long as you dont have an ele making them scatter now) and spamming Life Siphon on about three targets with the tab key. I'm healed constantly while the baddies are dropping like flies. Then I WoP their corpses while the monks stand in the glowing green ring and heal everyone in my party.

since you just gave away every option to farm look forward to the nerfs in about a month or so.

anet has already stated time and time again that soloing IS going to be fixed.

Remove Reversal of Fortune and put Mantra of Resolve and you got the exact build I use for Grifs/Minos/Scorps.

Tbh i don't see wot the fuss is, is not that hard to find a build that works, jsut means that ppl might have to change from Mo/w to something else

and i agree that ppl should keep there solo faring builds to them selfs, balths aura has now been afeccted in the last two main updates and it sucks

Yeah, farming just takes a little longer, but in reality since you have to take it a little slower (due to not being able to round them all up anymore) it makes it easier. I used a slight variation of the OP's build on both Griff's and Trolls, I'm still working on the Ember Camp area...But here's what I ran

5 Sup Runes, -50 hp off hand, +20% Ench sword

9 Healing
16 Smite
10 Protect
12 Divine

1: Prot Spirit
2: Breeze
3: SoJudgment
4: Arcane Echo
5: SoW (since SoJ knocks them down, if you time SoW right it will hit them for 3-4 seconds of 5 second timer, works really well)
6: Blessed Aura
7: Mending
8: Balth's Spirit

Anet has told us that they track some of the things we do. It's not all that hard to read a database.

The ONLY possible reason for keeping secrets is the THEORY that Anet won't bother to fix an exploit unless it gets abused by a large number of people. That arguement actualy might have some merit, but the problem then becomes how to keep it secret.

If they can't manage to keep the Atom bomb a secret, do you really think your super special carebear farming builds are going to stay secret?

One final note. They're posting SoW as a good skill to take. Do you really see a threat from this quarter?
