Giant Slayer Hammer?

Hi guys,

Got a drop in GP last night. A 'Giant Slayer' hammer...nothing special about it, just a clean low req max dmg weapon.

But what I would like to know is how is it different from a 'Rams Hammer' which looks quite similar. Are they the same hammer with a different name or what's the deal?

they are the same, so i dont know why they have different names, there are alot of weapons like that, like shortsword=gladius, forked sword=spatha, and lots of others, it would be nice if there was an update eventually to make em all look different
