Seeing as nobody has answered your question, I thought maybe I should. Yes, it is still possible to solo UW, but it is very slow and very hard. Especially as you can't bring shield of judgement any more, because you need Spell Breaker as an elite (Dying Nightmares). Also, seeing as balthazar's aura has been nerfed, you can kill something like once every 2 minutes.
