Suggestion to nerf farming

<sarcasm>If a player attacks a monster and deals any damage whatso ever make that monster run away. Give the monster a natural sprint/charge running speed so that it's virtually impossible to get more than 1-2 hits in. Also all monsters should have natural immunity to any spells/conditions/hexes that might cause them to move at a slower rate.
Make it impossible to kill anything and hence impossible to get any drops. Effectivly ruin the game for anyone who likes PvE and lighten the load on your servers. Afterall, this will reduce cost since you aren't getting a monthly fee and you already have our $40-$50.
Create an update that reintroduces fun PvE so that you can once again market toward this sector of the community. Get them to pay $40-$50 for the game and then after your customer base is large enough and you've made enough initial profit, screw up PvE again in the method described above.
Rinse and repeat until no one is willing to buy an expansion or play PvE at all. </sarcasm>

I could embark on a long rational explanation that Guild Wars is not just a PvP game, but I'm afraid it would be lost on someone as narrow-minded as you. "I don't like it, so shut it down"? What kind of mentality is that?
Ok, get the mod and shut this down

You're missing the point. Perhaps my sarcasm was missed.
ANet should realize that some people LIKE to farm, thats one of the components of the game that is constantly being destroyed.
I wish they would realize that NOT EVERYONE plays GW for PvP.
It is also a PvE game, one which should be rich in PvE activity, all aspects of it which include farming.
Anet is constantly making modifications and spending WAY too much effort to make farming impossible or not worth the time. I really hate that. I hope they realize that a good portion of the population that PvE's also farms.
They hardly ever nerf anything in PvP, but constantly nerf things in PvE. IT'S NOT FAIR! It's not exclusivly a PvP game.
ANet, My suggestion: Please stop ruining people's fun.
Some of us bought an account or 2 to exclusivly PvE with them. YOU ARE IGNORING this customer base. PLEASE STOP IGNORING US

I agree, in a sense. They have made farming in effect, useless to AOE'ers. But I'm sure there's a build without an AOE that can farm, just as well. In my griffon farmers build. the AoE was 50% of it, so naturally, I am embittered when I get it off and they simply run away, but now this just brings a glitchy new aspect: THINKING. Yes, thinking. Think about it before you use it. Think if they're going to run, or stay. THEN use it.
But no, most people just see it as a "nerf" to AOE, while it does hurt that it barely lands anymore, be creative people!
Try, and you shall succeed.

AN has all sorts of analysis stuff running to montior where and when you play, they know the percentage of PvE only players and farmers and skills used and not used and etc etc. Else they could not make the mods they make. So really the question is what was the AOE 'adjustment' supposed to fix? Framing? It has effectively made to PvE game a much longer experence as quests and mission times are going to take longer to complete.
