I just thought of this, so it is not polished at all. Anyway, here it goes...

A commander monster AI that increase the tactic and manuever of a group of monster AI while within range. When the commander AI is either out of range or dead, the monster surrounding become less effective (strategically, not stat) in using their ability.

When the shephred is hit, the sheeps will scatter.

So its like the bosses would enhance the mobs AI a notch or maybe their hp? Sounds great, would be more challege.

it would give people more incentive to finish the boss first, rather than kill all the generic mobs and then just fight the boss.

That's a lot like in DII how boss monsters have attributes that they then pass on to their minions. I like the idea, but I bet the people who don't like the current patch will.

Then the mobs would try to protect the boss, turning the battle into something more above the scale.

The only matter that I kind of want to turn away from is; if every mob have a boss like this then going through the mission and explorable will take hours just for each battle, perhaps one should make an area for this specificly or a new mode for it.

good idea, these simple hack n slash fights are getting boring, I could use some variety. I need better AI, I demand to be challenged, not just mindlessly hacking something away.

Quite Vulgar [FUN]

i like this b/c in pvp battles you have a caller. that directs your attacks and leads the groups. usually when a teams caller dies it goes down hill from there.

i like this idea and how it simulates more pvp tactics into pve.
