I have a level 20 ranger necro. I have every skill for her and I am looking at this thing called XP. What am i going to do with it all? I mean I have almost 500k xp and I have no need to skill points any more. I see no use in changing my secondary to just unlock skills. It costs 1k a skill now because of the update that messed with that. And I have only so much money. Now that they have gone and further nerfed farming getting money became harder. What am I gonna do with with all this XP?
NOTE: Anet added in extra quests that further the storyline... they were fun quests and i did like the addition to story. But I still got XP from it. It was kinda rediculous.
I have a few ideas but it is alot of implementing work. I used to play Neverwinter Nights, there was a server i much enjoyed where every player was level 40 to begin with. And what defined you as a player was you equipment and your stats. But how you got the better equipment was not through gold alone but also XP. you paid xp no more then to lower your level below 40 but it added a diffrent side of how to play the game. I just think that maybe this would encourage players to cont. to play those characters that have the 15k armors and every skill availible to them.
LvL 20 all your skills and still getting xp?

Maybe you should remove the experience bar from your interface. Then it won't be able to taunt you with its uselessness.
Meanwhile, grats on getting all your skills! That is very cool.

I've had all my skills on my N/Me some time too, and my suggestion to you is:
Switch secondary (temporarily) and buy some skills for that class, to unlock skills for PvP. I don't PvP much either, but I do that.

I have all my primary profession skills unlocked, elites included. All my original secondary skills unlocked, elites included. Now working on changing secondaries & getting every skill for every profession. Across my 4 toons this is quite the task. It's because of this that I am glad they capped skill costs at 1 plat. Otherwise I would be paying out my nose for those skills now.

Just so you know, as a result of that change to make it 1k, you will end up saving a LOT of gold if you decide to get every skill on one character. Trust me, I was very thankful after the change as I was paying over 2k per skill.

Trust me, it gets more painful when you have every skill, rune and upgrade unlocked and maxed out faction.
My own mission is to get every skill and elite on all my characters for every profession. My monk has done it

The use of XP also feels a bit weird to me. By the time you get every skill for your first two professions, you're likely to have done all the quests in the game (you need to have gotten to Hell's Precipice, at the very least, to cap the last elites).
After that point, the only thing you can do with XP is change secondaries and try to get all the skills for that profession as well. But you'll be out of quests to do, soon afterwards you'll run out of gold, and the XP gain in PvP is negligible. So, what then?
