Probably a cosmetic and a change to make things easier, can we have a build menu where we can configure what builds we want? eg, if i click on build 1, i swap my build from a healer to a smiter. If i click on build 2, it becomes a healer.

The indvidual builds are custom made - that it u select the build set u want beforehand. This applies to Pve but if can be done for pvp then y not.

would be very nice for my necro.... have to keep switching from battery to mm.... doesnt take much time but gets annoying

I do belive this suggestion has been posted a few times now, and hopefully Anet has taken it into consideration.
