New with a question

Hi, everyone. I'm new to the forums and this is my first post. I picked up GW over the summer, but haven't really had the time to commit to it, so I'm only level 13 (I only play once in a blue moon and still very much a newbie to the game... don't even have a clue what "the furnace" is). That's the reason why I bought the game, though. Other popular ORPGs make you pay a fee every month and for a guy like me, that just doesn't work out fiscally. Anyhow, pleasure to meet you all.

And now, for my first question:

I read somewhere that there were some pretty neat features added to celebrate Halloween. Can any of you elaborate on the details?

Thanks, Savio. What was everyone's impression of it? Successful? Fun? Cheesy? Silly? Added to/took away from the game?

I think it was fun. The decor was quite entertaining. It's just unfortunate that I only got to see the Mad King on his last appearance, 'cus I got home late.

I loved it, and I still sport my pumpkin helmet, absinthe and whatnot.

I loved the mad king games, although lagged to heck and back, I still attended. It was pure hilarity.

I'm expecting something more "jolly" for christmas..wink.
