Missions/Quests
I'm new to Guild Wars and am wondering if another player accepts my invitation to go on a quest or mission, how do I initiate the mission? (I can do them on my own, but how do you do it so that both the other player and I have the details in our quest log and both gain the rewards of completing the mission?)

Skills
I have four skill points, how do I spend them and get the skills?

Thanks,

with quest, both of you need to get the same quest from the same npc(computer person) then you can do them together. other wise, one can still come along with you even if they don't have the quest, but they won't get the reward for doing the quest.

as with mission u only have to invite them in the party popup, and click enter mission, note only the first person on the party list can do that.

skill points allows you to purchase skills you don't have from the skills guy, the first skills guy u'll meet is in ascalon city. i'd only buy skills if u can't get them from quests, just to save yourself some money.

Where on the screen do you click "enter mission"?

Clicking on 'Enter Mission' is only something that you have to do to initiate a main quest mission. When you enter an area from which you have to undertake these quests, an 'Enter Mission' box will appear next to your Party' Box -press P (default) to change this.
For ordinary missions, just leaving the town when in a party will teleport the people in your group with you outside.

quests: Invite people looking to do the same quest, and go complete it by zoning out into the respective zone.

Missions: Look for people you need, like if you're a warrior, get a monk, if a caster get a melee, etc. Fill the party up however you like. Then hit "Enter Mission" button in the party window.

Skill Point: Use these at skill vendors with a little hard earned gold to purchase new skills and unlock them for PVP.

Hope this remedied your questions.
