Do you recall how hexes last a lot less on bosses?

Do you recall that when 'Wastrel's Worry' ends it deals around 60 dmg?

It ends in a second or less on most bosses I find.

5 Energy cost, 1/4 second recharge...

Spam.

Makes life a lot easier when capping.

It has to be on there for 3 secs to do the dmg... Now Power Block followed by a bit of Wastrals Worry spamming works nicely.

Edit: Oh and adding in Shatter Delusions in case they are cheeky enough to try and use a skill works well too...

I remember playing the ascension quests with everous, he was me/w and found that he could rip up the worms/wurms by spamming ww. Im assuming this was some form of natural resistance since they took the damage dam fast. He dropped most of the wurms on dunes of despair asap.

However, running it again at a later date, the damage didnt work (if i remember correctly). I can only assume that the damage used to work, 'when ww ends', which has now been fixed to 'after 3 seconds' and therefore the skill is useless against natural resistance.

Makes life a lot easier when capping. It's good if you combine it with soul barbs. Also, if the boss spams skills a lot, like a monk boss with TWO orison of healings*cough* sf monk bosses *cough* Then it's totally USELESS.

If you're wearing a denravi helm or your hex duration is decreased for whatever reason wastrel's worry will still do damage when it ends.

You wanna know the best way to use it? On a Guild Lord. It ends as fast as you can cast it (and that is with Fast Casting at 13!). So you end up doing 68 damage/second. Plus the Lord never really uses any skills (besides cyclone axe at the start), so you always do the damage!!
