Guild hall Population

I think there should be a guild hall ranking also, where theres random NPCs around the world, and if you talk to them they go over to your guild hall and can do service for you, like if you give them 10 tanned hide squares they have the ability to make 1 fur square out of that, without you paying 200 gold. But these NPC's are random appearing so you cant really tell someone that Joe Shmoe is in the area Ice floe. I think this will make ROLEPLAYING characters something to look forward to when playing Guild Wars. All Guild Wars have to do is, create an NPC that says some lines, make him random in areas. And that certain NPC appears only for 1 week, then next week there is another NPC.
Tasks they can do could be, henchmen for GvG (possibly outside GvG, and just roleplaying), storage, merchant, item trader (like dye, materials, etc), collector (like give him 5 molten claws he gives you blue dye, or some kind of rare material or some weapon/shield), animal tamer, where he gives your pet extra 20 health, etc.

This is actually a very good idea, so long as it can be implemented without enabling guilds to 'farm' these npcs and thus not only provide guild mates with the same npc, but enable people to make profits by buying/selling/using them as henchies. Though I'm not sure entirely how this idea would fully work, I /sign.

interesting...so somewhere in the world of Tyria...a guild npc will visit my guild if i can find him?
that sounds kinda neat. ^^

If this is implemented, I BEG Anet for one of two things:
1) The NPC is FAIR. He won't sell something for 1 million and only buy it for TEN.
2) The ability to kill the NPC. (If he isn't being fair )

sounds gute to me. i think it would be pretty hard to pinpoint this guy tht appears randomly in all of Tyria though. that would be quite tough to find. but still it sounds cool.

id like it if there were some restricitons on it. bringing a materials person would require a fee, yes? so lets say you can get anyone. a henchie with a specific skills set, a merch just for your hall, a GUILD HALL STORAGE SYSTEM, and you are simply required to pay a fee depending upon how usefull this person is. and yes, being able to kill them would add guilty pleasure. just make it like your guild is hiring them for a week. pay x amount, and there you are.

Maybe when you find them you can hire them, by paying money, or doing some quests they require for you, like bring him 20 apline seeds.

I just post this, because in my view I like games, where you can get workers and have a place of your own (Guild Hall). If you ever played Breath of Fire III, I think the best thing about that game was the fairy land, where fairies have offsprings off a certain amount of time, and you assign them a task, to make the fairy land grow.
I think if this was implemented into the game, it would make people wait into there guild hall and fiddle around. because is there any other reason to goto the Guild Hall except for Guild Battles?

It'd be awesome. Your own little town on your own island where you're basiclly the owner, Guild Halls wouldn't be so lonley and empty. Awesome idea!

yeah I think just new stuff is a guild hall needs, but I'd rather have more NPCs there. Its just worthless where it is now, I think of it as an ADMISSION to participate in GvG. But with more NPCs that communicate, and possibly tell you to fetch them something for something, I'd be willing to do that. Right now in the game, I think there is nothing to do, because theres no NPC telling you what to do, to make you feel your in the game, rather than be bored.
