I've gotta say this. The ban stick really needs to come out. There have been a TON of warnings, and I'm TIRED of reading trash like "You sound like a teenager" "You exploit the AI and suck at nuking" "You don't have a life" blah blah blah. Nobody is backing up what they say or listing builds. I tried it, nobody listens to that. The flamers need to go.

Yeah there are a few here that have been allowed to roam free for far too long. But eventually they DO get banned...just takes far too long for it to happen.

I dont agree with alot of what people say, but i dont go "ohhh you suck / ohhh you must be 16" (unless its because theve basicly insulted me first, i never try and start it).
debate/arguing with reason is the way to go, not insults.

You're missing the point. It doesn't say, "No flames, unless they started it." It says NO FLAMES in big, bold, red, letters. I think that's pretty clear.

There was a lot of high emotion with this latest update. We can recognize that. We have some great community here, and when I see someone with 600+ posts, not one violation but they write a rant or post something juvenile because they get upset about the latest incident.. I'm not going to ban for that.
The mods are working hard, let me give you some stats so you can see what goes into a normal day.
Yesterday, the mods deleted 82 posts, closed 22 threads, merged 10 and redirected 18 threads. That's one day, now multiple that by 7 and we are talking hundreds of posts deleted, dozens of threads closed and more. This last week we've had to ban or suspend 19 users.
Everyone is doing their job and with the last update we've allowed everyone to express their opinions (within reason) while knowing that next week this will all calm down.
We all go off sometimes. I've written my fair share of rants and posts that have no redeeming value sometimes. I admit that! But everything will calm down and if users continue their actions then we'll take the appropriate action.
Also, you are mentioning some users taking far too long to ban. If you do feel that we are missing something and someone has gone too far, they are spamming or any violation please don't hesitate to send any of the mods or myself a PM. We get thousands of posts a day, we can't possibly look after every single one. We'll look into it and take appropriate measures.

Because the AI (enemy monsters) have improved intelligence now and move away from area of effect spells.
