Collectors bow

is there a collectors bow that gives an ascalon bow but acts as a flatbow? ive been trying to find this out for like a month now and still no luck... finally decided to make a post. thanks guys if you have any info on this

I believe there's a collector that trades flatbows for Intricate Grawl Necklaces in Witman's Folly, just outside of Port Sledge. I can't seem to recall his name, though. Hope this helps.

should be the flatbow

Note that there is NOT a 15>50 Ascalon collector Flatbow.

There is however a 15% while enchanted version. You get it for 5 Minotaur Horns right outside of Elona Reach, or from the before mentioned Witman's Folly collector for 5 Intricate Grawl Necklaces.

Both places are decently packed with monsters that drop said items, so its really your pick.

yes. only short bows and composites collectors are 15>50

Looks like its Nord Stonegrimm in Lornars pass. Need 5 frozen shells.

Like I said - The desert collectors with ascalon bows all carry a different kind.

I thinkthe longbow one is the one outside Augury Rock. but I'll have to check when I get home.

I only have the Composite and shortbows. I need to get the longbow version as well. I only want the 15>50 bows myself.

Yeah the one Outside Augury rock is the Composite bow, needing Topz Crests. Thats my main bow right now. Poisoners and +29 Health mods on it.

Heres a stupid question. How do u know it's a short bow or a long? Does it say?

Well, it doesn't say so in the name. You need to do some testing. In a flat area, shoot at a stationary target by pressing C and then Space. Hint, hint ... Thirsty River, walk outside, Dune Burrowers. If you run up and start shooting when the target dot in your radar reaches the borderline of your bubble of awareness (i.e. the aggro bubble), you have a composite bow or similar. If you run up to the target until the red dot is way into your aggro bubble, it's a short bow or similar. If the red dot is still outside of your bubble of awareness when you start shooting, you have a longbow or similar.

what does hitting "C" do?

"c" targets the closest mob to you.
