i have only seen 1 or 2 max dmg low req 15>50 butterflies (its very difficult to get a max mod, max dmg, lower-level weapon, as thier locational drop-locations often mean they are coming from lower-level enemies).
if you want one for a the look a wingblade of the same mods would actually be cheaper, if you want one because its harder to get than a wingblade then good luck to you.

I had a feeling butterfly swords were rare, but I wasn't sure how rare. I suppose Akhilleus has confirmed it for me.

If you get really lucky Augury minotors drop max butterflys, but I've never gotten a gold one.

butterfly swords have the same skin as wingblades. i have a 8 req 15>50 wingblade here.
