I tried a Me/R interupter today, and I had some success with it, but at one point I simply stopped gaining faction. I couldn't get even a single kill Anyone see any problems with my build?

The idea was to take advantage of the Ranger's decent attack and their interupting skills with the Mesmer's interupts as well. Yeah, I know, common. Very common. But, I didn't have enough energy to counter with the way that I play, so I decided to try it as a Mes primary. It worked great at first. I shut ppl down and crushed their wills to play. Then, I had a slew of Flawless against (all in the CA). I'm wondering if I've made some kind of error here. It's plenty powerful, I can do some pretty good damage, and if I'm paying attention, I can shut down almost anything.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Me/R Interupter, help?

CA you say? You can go flawless with a bad build played well pretty easily, or lose alot with a good one, it's a good place to test whether something's viable, but not a good place to test whether or not it's good.
As for the build, are you having trouble landing your interrupts? Generally, without slowing cast speed eles and necs are the only targets that can be interrupted with perfect reliability. My favorite interrupt/shutdown build uses conundrum and powerblock, and even that fails against spells like RoF and offering of blood. Maybe you could dry using migraine AND conundrum, with non-elite interrupts. I find that most spells cast so slow under both that you can wait until the very last quarter of their cast to interrupt, wasting their time faster, and giving your interrupts more time to finish cooldown.
Another thing... I can't see how switching mesmer primary could solve your energy problems. You'd be better off going pure ranger with only ranger interrupts and expertise. Splitting between mesmer and ranger interrupts just doesn't make sense. Use mesmer secondary for conundrum if you want. As far as interrupters go, nothing beats a ranger primary. Try going oath shot, choking, and conundrum, with just the bare minimum in marksmanship (6+3 from sup).
Of course I'm just guessing as to your problem, maybe you're landing just fine and you just got a streak of warrior or ranger heavy teams (so common in CA that playing anticaster is useless there).

If you're looking for damage while interrupting, I recommend Migraine {E} + Conundrum + Power Spike + Wastrel's Worry + Distracting Shot + Power Drain + any energy gaining Insp skill + Res Sig.
This way, you can flip off Wastrel's for the main damage while you're interrupting with the quick + reliable Distracting Shot. Spike allows extra damage, and the Insp skills help with energy management. If you're doing it right, they shouldn't be able to get off any skills, and you'll be punishing them for it.
Problem is, you'll have no way to defend yourself. In CA, that's usually pretty important. You may want to put away the bow and opt for Wilderness Survival instead, to help keep you alive.
Another way to do it might be to use Concussion Shot, but you'd have to build a whole build around that skill to make it work with the amount of raw Energy it uses...also, make sure you wait until near the end of the skill before you interrupt it with Mig+Conundrum. This way, you can maybe get a few normal shots in with your bow before interrupting them...

when I play R/Me interrupt (tombs) I always carry mantra of signets and leech signets, because leeching is oh so nice for doing it twice

ty for the advice. Yeah, I was going for a damaging interupter, and I got the idea from Punishing Shot. I can land on most skills if I'm close enough, I just got some really bad teams I guess (all too common in CA). I'll have to unlock some more Mesmer skills before I can make that viable, but at least I know what I'm going for now
