Ground Textures corrupted on load, easily fixed

Everytime I load a new area and go in, the ground is all squares and the textures aren't correct. If I change the AA setting from whatever it is, to something else, it fixes the corruption. Also if I am running in window mode and change the size of the window, it fixes the problem.

This is with a 6800GT (AGP) with Nvidia drivers 81.85, and 81.87 (beta). It has happened with older driver releases, I just don't remember which versions off the top of my head.

I have all my settings maxed, 4x AA (even though this happens regardless of the AA setting) at 1600x1200.

That's not a fix...that's a work around. As long as you have to continue changing the AA to "fix" it it's not fixed.

It won't be fixed until Nvidia gives us new driver that don't corrupt the textures.

Does anyone know which driver to roll back to? I had 71.89 originally and it caused a lot of problems when I moved windows around on my desktop. There would be many artifacts, trails from moving and a ton of blocking.

I'm using the 78.01 with no problems.

78.01 was the latest driver that doesn't corrupt the graphics in Windows or GW terrain
