1) Do pets incur a death penalty?
2) Do henchmen incur a death penalty?

Pets do NOT incur a death penalty.

Just look at how often Alesia will hit the mat after her first death! Pretty sure they incur DP.

You still have to use up one of your skill slots on 'Comfort Animal' to rezz your pet, maybe its worth it if your pet doesnt get a dp.
On the other hand I will would guarentee that henchies pick up a dp, although I have no proof
, I use them A LOT and have seen plenty of times where my party has been KO'd much quicker after we have all been rezzed a few times

Oh yah henchies definitely suffer death penalties, just have your whole group and you get to 60% penalty and watch how fast Cynn dies every battle afterwards. In fact she and orion start dying really fast at around 30ish% death penalty. I can definitely tell a difference in their staying power as their deaths start to wrack up.

Nope, pets do not have DP from what I know off, just the Henchmen. The reason is, if you where in a party with Henchmen and there was no DP it would be very unfair when there at lv 20 while doing missions, compared to having a group of people who do get DP.
