Buying Negative Energy Offhand

I'm looking for something that I've been told is found in presear (yes, I know this is going to suck to get) that gives mods something like this:

Scroll
+3 Energy
+5 Armor (or something like that, it really doesn't matter)
-5 Energy

I want items like that that primarily give a negative bonus to Energy. I'm willing to pay a fair amount for it as well. Thanks.

you can find purple/gold off-hands with that mod too, +5 armour -5 energy, i've seen a few in my time

ive also seen a few of these. i think even as a quest reward someplace.

I'd be very interested to know where to get any of those items.

I have one. Earth Scroll +4 energy +5 ar -5 energy. Dropped in presear. Been holding onto it for a bit..anyway, that is where it dropped.

If you do the Cities of Ascalon quest (the same one for -50 blood cesta)
the other focus item usually is a
Scroll
Energy +6 (req. 6 Earth Magic)
Health +25
Armor +5
Energy -5

If you dont have 6 Earth the item is only +3 energy for a net lost of 2 energy.

I done this quest and there might be two variations of this scroll one with - health and one with - energy.

the only reason i would want something like this is to look at it everyday and laugh lol..

There is a reason someone would want a item like this. A pvp player would want the to use a -5 energy weapon and - energy Focus to protect the most energy they can from getting drained. Its also useful to end Malaise and Wither Prematurely. Assuming you use a 12 energy focus this is a 19 Energy Swing.

I got the one with -20 health apparantly, though I'm going to check with that guy again, because I believe he has more quests. You do bring up an interesting point though, with the energy bonus being only if you have earth magic (which the character this is for does not). Though, how is it -2 energy without any earth magic if the +6 energy mod is dependent on Earth Magic? Wouldn't it be -5 energy?

i have a few of these thing somewhere, and yeah it's for pvp focas switching.
