It ignores RoF, so it's the same "not really damage" damage that life steals are.
It doesn't trigger essence bond ever, so it's definitely not the same type of damage the target takes.

Well Essense Bond is physical dmg only, so elemental doesn't trigger. But, I didn't realize it would ignore RoF like lifesteal. Does it trigger balthazar's spirit?
