Shatter Enchantment
Schorny
Hi Guys.
Does Shatter Enchantment do its damage before or after the topmost Enchantment is removed?
Consider:
RoF -> if the damage is dealt before the enchantment removal, rof would trigger and therefore negate the damage and the next enchantment gets removed. Or is RoF being removed and then the damage applied?
Protective Spirit/Life Barrier -> does it reduce the Shatter Enchantment damage? (if it's the topmost Enchantment).
The skill description does indicate that the Enchantment is removed first and then the damage is dealt - but you can never be sure about skill descriptions in GW :/
Thanks

1) Remove Enchant
2) Damage is Inflicted
I cannot prove this. But people tell me shatter is the best defense-offense actualy against 55 monks in CA

never played a invinci-monk - but if shatter enchantment single kills such a monk - it works the way it is described.

Think of the stack <AKA how things happen> Ask yourself: Does it do damage THEN strip the enchantment, or does it state, clearly in the text, "Remove such and such, then suchandsuch deals X damage"... lotta confusions can be cured by simply examining the skill..

{PS: on a 55 hp monk..soloing UW may be your thing, but referring to PVP if I shatter and then in quick succession conjure, or do any other damage spell, goodbye!}

Except when the skill description is inaccurate. Which is just common enough to make things uncertain.

I know it does full damage removing prot spirit, so I'm pretty sure that it removes the enchant, then does the damage.
Wrath Of Dragons
Yes, it removes te topmost enchantment and then inflicts the damage. if a 55 monk doesnt have another enchantment over his prot spirit, he will die a horrible instant death. trust me. i run the 55 all the time. its not a pretty sight.
