after beta testing do you get to keep your character? because i read you get a unique item for preordering at different locations and i was wondering how you would transfer that or your account over when you actually buy the game.

Since part of the preorder bonus was reserving character's names, players will be able to keep their characters.. sorta. They will still exist, maintain the same appearance, etc - as they did during the BWEs, just that they'll be reset back to level 1 / starter skills / etc.

so you still keep all the skills that youve earned?

Skills and equipment will be reset to starters, as stated in the Official FAQ:
Quote:
Will my characters be wiped when Guild Wars is released?

No, your characters will not be wiped. That is, they will not be removed from the servers because if you have played in any of the Beta Weekend Events, your character names are reserved through the character itself. However, the characters will by necessity be reset to starting levels and they will possess starting skills and items.

your character is exactly as you made it before the wipe except at first level with no additional items skills etc

the secondary is part of the character you created so................

on the level 20 maybe for pvp but not for pve

picture a level 20 on the first mission or if put in later they miss half the game NOPE
