The Final Exodus[FX]

To start this is my farming build(viable even after the 11/10/05 update)

W/MO

attributes are:
Smiting=12
Tactics=9+1 rune
Healing=10

and just pour the rest into Axe mastery.

Armor:
The armor i prefer to us is Glads for the chest and legs, Knights for the boots, Wyvern for the arms, and of course Axe helm. Try to get as high as absorption and vigor runes as possible.

Skills:

cyclone Axe= used to charge bonetti's and give you health from vig spirit
bonetti's defense=major form of protection
vigorous spirit(what i like to call Viagra's spirit)=heals you when ever you hit something
Shield of Judgment{E}= only effective AOE smite Ive found to work, make sure you use this only with bonetti's on
sprint=to get to the enemies
endure pain=in case your in a tough situation
mending=make sure this is +3 Regen
Balthazar's spirit=every time you get hit you get energy

Execution:

Now a good place to start is "talus chute"(just outside droks). start off by casting mending as soon as you load up. Then at the start there may be some dengue or dwarfs,
try dodge them by staying to the left wall. If they come for just use sprint. When you just about go into the cave where the trolls are cast balths spirit, then go in.
Try to get the whole first batch around you. Then when your fully surrounded attack with cyclone immediately followed by bonetti's. Wait for cyclone to recharge then cast vig spirit,cyclone,bonetti's in that order. If and when your health get below half just use cyclone and bonetti's over and over again, until your comfortable. when you feel like it cast SoJ for some extra damage. And remember if your about to die use endure pain till u can use a skill. So have fun and don't hurt yourself.

I just wanted to know what yall thought, and if you have any suggestions.

SoJ will slow down there aderniline based attacks, since they get knocked down takes a lil bit longer... plus they like to attack in a uniform way so you can time it, I really havnt had a warrior that far and try the cyclone axe on them, so whats your normal dmg to them?

stop farming from my XP palace of ice...

if you use SoJ while Bonneti's is on SoJ isn't doing anything...what is the point of that?

what about instead of using smiting so much, throw more in tactics and use gladiators defense, this is a backup for if they interrupt your cyclone axe, and a big damage dealer

The trolls use Wild Blow, which ends stances.

Used a Gladiator's/Apply Poison W/R and it CAN work, it just takes some doing, not as easy as SoJ.

Bonneti's protects you from most attacks not all of them, so you still do damage with Bonneti's on. Now if you wanna be daring you can have it off for a moment or two.

also i have found that it takes longer to use Glad's defence(from the first cyclone axe used to the last troll dead)

Predatory Season, +5 HP gain per hit
Troll Unguent +7 regen
Healing Sig +130(?) HP

More than enough, until they tore down my stances.

I tried your build for troll farming, and i found that it just wasnt enough healing to keep me alive, although my dmg output was much greater. Any way of greater healing and this build would be greater. I really like the idea however of shield of judgment with those handy knockdowns.

Well like ive said you have to make sure vig spirit is on every time you use cyclone. also make sure most of the time you have Bonneti's on. an easy thing to do is switch endure pain with healing breeze

You could also sub Live Vicariously in for mending as @ 10 healing, this plus vig spirit plus cyclone = 20 hp per hit. Stood in a mob of 10-15 trolls thats 200-300 health in one swing.

Still not sure why people are having probs with this - I got a whisper the other night from a guy who said he couldn't get it to work anymore and as I hadn't done it for a while I went out and tried to see for myself.

Pretty standard build, cyclone, bonetti, vig spirit, soj, balth aura, breeze, sprint, liv vic. Can't remember the attribs exactly but I think they were healing 10, smite 12, strength 1, axe 9, tactics 7 (some runes in there to get those numbers).

What I found was that it was actually easier than normal and I never needed to go near breeze for emergency healing. Agro mob, hit vig spirit, cyclone, bonetti, and immediately cast soj. Wait for energy to hit max again, then I cast Balth aura - interestingly, it took about 2 hits to each foe before they ran away, but within 2-3 seconds they'd turned round and regrouped around me.

So, it is still possible, just takes a little longer but due to the mobs running a bit, actually results in less pressure on your health.

Hope this helps alittle.

a better idea for your W/R would be apply poison+cyclone axe+bonettis+VIM

Wow, I'm probably the only player in GW who's trying to make viable non-monk warrior soloists...

Good build btw...

With smiting @ 12, you have 18 seconds of damage, but a 45 second cool down, so thats 27 seconds with only minimal damage from your axe.

When I cast Balth Aura (or maybe Symbol of Wrath as an alternative), yes, the mob does break up but not to the extend that I'm not doing any damage to them. Plus after a couple of seconds, they regroup anyway and BA is still running - at 12 smite, thats 22 seconds of damage to about 90% of foes which I'm betting is more damage than cyclone could do to the entire mob in that time. As soon as BA finishes, the mob reforms completely and in another 5-10 seconds, you can cast SoJ again.

This gives continuous damage, albeit not as efficient as before, but I think the damage output would outstrip SoJ + cyclone on their own. Sure you get pulled about when the mob breaks up a bit but not that much.

Anyway, that's my £0.02 worth. If your build works for you then more power to ya
