Elemental Henchie needs readjustment

Ok, so the AoE update was done, and I can live with it.

However, I often find myself grouping often with Henchies for those quick and simple quests. First time using henchies after the update, and found out the hard way that Orion (ele hench) decides to use rain of fire. Well all hell breaks loose. Warrior henchies chasing after things left and right, monk henchie doing circles trying to heal everyone, me pounding my fist on the keyboard wondering why it's pooring fire in a spot where there are no longer critters.

All this to say, now might be a good time to remove the rain of fire skill from the ele henchie and replace it with something not AoE related. I'd be willing to bet the use of the ele henchie has drop significantly since the last update.

Agreed, I stopped using him as well, at least while playing my warrior last night. Perhaps if you have an all ranged/caster group he would be OK.

Reyna and Aiden take the place of Orion and Cynn now.
If the ranger henchies used ignite arrows, i'd be playing a man down.

This is what I do

Run up and use Hamspring.

Take advantage of Bull's Strike when Guys are running away. Still use for fire henchies

Also, if your group is getting beat on good and the ele henchies drop fire storm on the group's location, it can save your lives. I rarely group with PC's unless its members of my guild and I still ALWAYS take the ele.

/agree with original comments. I don't think it needs to be nerfed, but it shouldn't be the primary weapon for cynn anymore. It should be used as the 5th or 6th spell in cynn's sequence based on the probability of agroing on casters/healers in the group. I still use Cynn, but I have work arounds...I don't believe you should have to do this though...

Simple fix: switch firestorm with meteorstorm. It knocks them down, and would be an overall fix to the current problem. Make their fire skill less if it does too much, but give them an AOE that actually helps!
