If I have a +20% enchantment mod on my weapon, and I have an enchantment that lasts 8 seconds, will that make the enchantment last 10 seconds (8 + 20% -> 9.6 sec -> 10 sec)?

no. the number gets truncated. meaning the .6 gets cut off and you're left with 9 seconds

thats right, but when something is always rounded down, its called truncated not rounded (rounded implies that if its .5 or more it rounds up)

I tested this, and from my numbers, the number isn't truncated. I don't know if the other topic still exists, but it's very hard to tell normally. I could run another few tests just to make sure, but I've not heard to the contrary posted backed with any evidence.

In the end, it doesn't really make a difference, though.

I have not tested it either so I cant be sure. I'll have to check it out later.

Maybe for a continuous affect enchantment, it will last the exact time, including fraction. I imagine something like balthazar's aura would in effect be truncated, since it deals Dmg ever 1 second. If it lasts 12.5 seconds, then it will deal the last damage at 12 seconds, and even though the enchantment is around for another half second it wont really do anything.
