Hello, let me just warn you, most of these are 1600x1200 Resolution. =p.

I'll post the small ones in the forums and put the huge ones behind links.

(1) Amazing picture of the sun cracking through a destroyed house with my character shooting in the front.

(2) Another picture of the sun cracking through the house, only a diffrent angle, and it looks much better.
http://img170.echo.cx/img170/5405/su...ghwall21ep.jpg

(3) A picture of me and two guards, with the sun in the background, looks very nice.

(4) Me about to kill a river drake.

Yep, just incase you are wondering, I have Duel Nvidia GeForce4 6800 Ultras, 2084MB of Ram, and 3 Harddrives(unsure what kind, but it gets the job done.)

All pictures taken at 1600x1200 resolution, full graphics alloud, and some cropped down in Photoshop.

SLI allows you to run two graphics cards together as if they were one extremely powerful card. It does, in fact, do a lot to make games run better. Especially for him as he has two cards with 256bit memory.

Yet you still have pixellation on your edges, especially with the guard shot?

methinks we have a pointless poser.

There is no anti-aliasing at all in that screenshot.

Actually duel cards blow, they make your power supply burn MUCH faster and do close to nothing. Still beautiful graphics.

You probably have AA turned off in your video card settings. Check your 3d settings.

Edit: As for power supply, yes they do, but who wouldn't have a 450w PSU when they can afford SLI?

Human eye can only see 60 FPS anyways.

Once you get into newer games like Doom 3, and even some MMOs like Star Wars Galaxies, which have scalable graphics engines... You'd pray for two 6800 Ultras in SLI. Games like those increase in detail into infinity based on your hardware, and scalability is so going to be standard soon. Even Stalker - Shadows Of Chernobyl is going to be scalable.

the only thing that mather in an MMO is 512 mb VIDEO ram, and maybe more

its the only cause of fps lag afaik, unless ur card sucks

Challenge #1: Set your monitor to 100hz and use your pc for a few hours. Now set it back to 60hz.

Challenge #2: Install an old 3d accelerated game (Quake is a good example). Let it run unhindered for a while at its peak FPS count. Now set the FPS maximum to 60 (cl_maxfps 60 in Quake).

Challenge #3: Believe your eyes, and don't post about the number of detectable frames per second until you have solid proof.

ps: This is hardware dependent, so if you can't run at 100hz or higher than 60fps in Quake then you clearly aren't going to benefit from it.
pps: Nice pics.

Human eyes see 72 fps. Change the refresh on your monitor and you'll see the difference.

Find the medical journal with tests and official proof. Go ahead, I dare ya. I had a CRT monitor at 60hz, it was horrible. I changed it to 75, and it was much better. So, there goes your "proof".
