I've decided to go completely back to basics. i've gone back to pre searing witha w/?. i want to stay here for a very long time and may never bring him to post. looking for the best dmg possible. need suggestions on 2nd class.
right now i'm thinking w/mes for sever, gash, conjure, empathy.
any suggestions?

Conjure phantasm is almost godly in pre searing.. I can still say axe > sword though, cause you get cyclone and executioner's in pre searing, neh? Though I suppose there's the deep wound to consider for sword..
Anyway, I find in pre searing that monk secondary is almost too good to pass up, symbol+shielding hands, and nothing runs away from it either, lol.
As far as survivabilty goes, I'd say necro. Blood Renewal is pre searing, I know. That's pretty much the best 5 energy heal ever. Alternatively, you could use curses and fainheartedness for the 3 degen, life siphon is another option. I don't know, so many choices. =P
If you do take mesmer, make sure to raise tactics. Could be a waste, seeing how all you get in pre searing for tactics is Healing Signet, but hey, it beats ether feast.

oh, totally w/mo if you're only stayin in pre. Of course, that's a horrible waste...
w/r maybe just for troll unugent, I met a w/n who raised minions and used only adrenal skills in pre-searing, I don't know how that would work.

Very slowly, with only a couple horrors up at a time. Best max energy I have ever seen on a pre warrior is 29... and he wouldn't be using a sword/axe/hammer (6 from a focus and 3(while hp > 50%) from a wand)

sever + conjure is -8 degen dealing 16 dmg per sec. that is very high dmg for pre. i can get the deep wound with swords unlike axe so that was the only deciding factor. right now i have this 6-12 dmg axe with some very nice mods so i'm using an axe version. soon as i find a decent sword it'll be on.
btw went to pre for about an hour last night and came out with 1 black, 2 red, 1 green

That's worse than firestorm. at least w/e would have glyph of energy in presear.

there are not alot of casters in pre. you only use it for the char monks.

Wow the charr run from aoe in pre searing? None of the other monsters I fought did, but I never bothered to go north of the wall with my latest character.
