hi i got a gold sword that i found and i would like to know if i can salvage the vampiric hilt?

You can, with an Expert Salvage kit, but you have 50% chance to salvage the other upgrade on the sword, which is the Warding upgrade.

Try your luck.

Actually, you can get iron/steel as well, so your chance is 1/3 to get the hilt.

Best of luck...I have had good luck with these...I usually do a little dance naked with my chick warrior *Enormous Honkers* (storage character) before I salvage it. Works every time.

You would most likely get the pommel.
