How many dyes can you combine?

Tried a search but I didnt really find anything. How many dyes is the maximum you can mix? Like Red+Blue+Yellow+Silver+Purple.. I've seen mostly 4 tops. Is it 4?

What? Dye remover mixed in with dye counts as 1? Can dye remover even be put into dye? I dont think so, but never tried. I dont think there is a limit to how many dyes you can put together.

so what color is dye remover? if it removes dye, it must be CLEAR, or WHITE, you know like WHITE OUT?

Dye remover acts like paint thinner, allowing more of the base color show through the additional mixed color.

Note that the base color may not be the color as purchased from the armor vendor. The base color is what the armor will look like when it has a dye remover applied to it.

For example, tormentors comes from the armor vendor green, whereas the base color is actually red like the other necro armors. Additionally, rogues comes blue, yet its base color is mesmer green.
