"While you maintain this "Enchantment", target ally gains adrenaline and Energy after taking damage. (The amount of adrenaline gained increases depending on your rank in Smiting Prayers.)"
If someone hits me with an arrow using Conjure Frost, for example, that shows up as a separate number over my head. Does that mean I get 2 energy from such a hit?
Would this be true for ranger preparations also, so if I'm getting 3 numbers over my head from various attack buffs, I get 3 energy?
Also: does Shielding Hands reduce each of the numbers separately?

By damage, it means Melee, it should specify..but it doesn't. For example, arrows might, but I know other projectiles like from devourers, don't hit for the +energy...
And yes, seperate attacks incur different calculations. Therefore; if you get hit multiple times instead of ONE BIG hit, yes, it reduces damage PER hit.
Hope this helped

After some quick testing, being struck by enemy using Ignite Arrows triggered Balthazar's Spirit twice. Even when I was hit for 0 damage, I still received a point of energy. Thus, I would assume the situation is the same for the conjure spells.
