Most in-demand build?

Hey everybody, first post, thanks for reading!

I've been reading up everywhere i can trying to figure out what class to be, but I haven't been able to come to a conclusion. Usually I just come up with a fun idea and run with it and take all the consequences with me, but this time I'd like to create a character that is either powerful enough to have a satisfying experience soloing most of the time, or something that groups really need and that are underplayed (monks??).

Also, if theres any particular combo that guilds tend to have a shortage of, i'd be interested in what that might be. My least favorite part of these sorts of games is needing a group to get anything accomplished, but not being a class that is in demand by groups.

Thanks for any suggestions/help.

First off, you have four character slots....run with three of em!

Second, there is no negative aspect to trial and error in this game at all. If you didn't want 12 Healing Prayers, you can drop to nine and put the other three elsewhere.

Thirdly, I think Monks that focus on 95% healing are going to be in demand as playing that type of character can be very slow, very tedious and very boring most of the time.

Me personally, I would have all four character slots as Primary Healers who do squat for damage, but I want to play around with em and see what I can come up with myself, so three will always be in a state of flux!

hehehe... "equlibrium" would result in a balance the desired character types, making no specific class needed more than another. You're proof of my point, due to the fact that you want to play what is needed the most. Say there is to many tanks and not enough spell casters. In this case, some of the tanks will have a harder time finding teams or at least will have a hard time finding teams with the character types they need. This would result in people identifing the problem and trying to fix it by adjusting what characters types they use to the underplayed types. Thus making it impossible for you to make a character that is needed & underplayed. Sorry! :P How did I do? Was I convincing?
