In pvp (competition arenas), and in pve i like to use this build...
It might not be the best but in places like SF i seem to always last for minutes after my whole party is dead :/
Healing Signet
Sever Artery/ Galrath Slash
Distracting Blow ( or whatever but i like this skill)
Gash/Savage Slash
Final Thrust
Shield Stance
Grenth's Balance
Rez Sig
Well, the points is to inturrupt and do damage while self supporting yourself.
I'd suggest for you to use the +5 energy sword so you can use GB more often
since after a month or so ago the recharge improved. And you need 12 in
Strength, Tactics, and Swordsmanship. It doesnt really matter how you put it
but if you do it this way its more balanced. And of course you need runes.
GB could do extreme dmg on bosses when your health is low, and last time it
gave me enough time to lead a Flame Djinn under a crusher....
so anyways i spose you can say its an endurance build... to tank and let the
monks save some energy. And plz dont call it nooby, even if it is to you.
just refer it as "stupid". that word is so much less insulting
A W/N build

Then I'll call it stupid.
No build is effective in both pvp AND pve without some massive shortcomings. Without Frenzy and sprint, you must be fighting real morons in pvp who wouldn't just kite you like no tommorow... Defensive Stances in pvp are junk. Especially when real warriors are runnng around using unavoidable weapon attacks or Wild Blow...
I will say that in pve, it probably has a place. There's room for improvement though. This is a W/N and that is my favorite class to play as, analyze, and tweak for maximum efficiency. The current setup has PvE written on it and since you're sword, using a non-weapon elite is viable...
8+1+3 Swordsmanship
9+1 Strength
9+1 Tactics
10 Blood Magic
Although it's nice to use Grenth's when it's available, when your hp is high and Grenth's is recharging, a nice quick regen maybe more useful. [this is assuming you're in a party with a non-brainless monk]
Sever Artery
Gash
Final Thrust
Savage Slash
Bonetti's Defense
Grenth's Balance {E}
Life Siphon
Res Signet
Your mentioned build lacked a good energy manager and in a mob of foes, using Bonetti's is usually the difference between victory and defeat. That and a +5e. sword is too expensive and hard to find one that's max dmg with good mods... Bonetti's > any energy mod...
Savage Slash is really all you need to interrupt with. In PvE, casters are usually behind the melee guys who'll rush you head first. But you can use Savage on the monk monsters when needed to punish... ^_^
You're not lacking damage either. Sever > Gash > Final will make a powerful spike on a foe you can bring to their knees.
If you want to get the most out of Grenth's Balance, you might want to bring a combination of Endure Pain + Demonic Flesh. By making your hp a 'tank' of sorts, you can drain a boss for extremely large amounts of damage.

BOOO.. seriously, man, w/n with the 2-second cast, 10 energy life siphon, for which you have to allocate 10 points woth away?
That's just silly, and you know it.
If you're spamming attack spells, bonettis ain't helping either. I think the original build is nice, but i'd go with savage slash and an IAS like frenzy, flurry or berserker's to use when not the target in addition to galrath+final or sever+gash (4 adrenal skills like that ain't doin it)

I know it isnt perfect but then i find it more balanced that way :P
I didnt say it was effective in pvp either. never said it was balanced:P its
just fun to mess around with.
and it horribly annoys people.
And anyways different strokes 4 different folkes :P
